FFL Transfer Information
Thank you for choosing 5Shot Firearms for your FFL transfer needs. To ensure a smooth and compliant process, please be prepared to provide the following items when you come to pick up your firearm. Requirements are based on federal law and Arizona state regulations.
Required Items for Firearm Pickup

Valid Government-Issued Photo Identification:
- Must show your current legal name, date of birth, and current residence address.
- Examples: Valid Arizona Driver's License or Identification Card.
- If your ID does not show your current address, supplemental government-issued documentation showing your current address is required (e.g., vehicle registration, utility bill, government check).
- (Add any specific non-resident requirements if applicable).

Completed ATF Form 4473:
- This form will be completed electronically or on paper at our location during pickup. Please allow sufficient time (typically 15-30 minutes) to complete this accurately.
- Ensure all information provided is truthful and accurate. Providing false information is a felony.

Payment for Transfer Fee:
- Our FFL transfer fee is $20 per firearm (subject to change - last updated on 5/4/2025).
- We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard.

Background Check Approval:
- We will conduct the required background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) after you complete Form 4473.
- The transfer can only be completed upon receiving a "Proceed" status from NICS. Delays or Denials may occur based on NICS findings.

(Optional) Firearm Lock:
- Consider bringing a case and/or lock for safe transport of your firearm, although one may be provided depending on the firearm type and manufacturer packaging.
